The Red System in Online Roulette
Have you heard of the Red System in online roulette? And no, it
is not simply betting on red with an outside bet. The red system
is one that focuses on the third column. Let’s take a look.
The Red System focuses on the third column on a roulette table.
This is the column that has 8 red numbers and 4 black numbers. The
system has you making a bet on the third column and then a bet on
black. For example, you bet $5 on the third column and $10 on black.
If the third column hits with a red number then you win the column
bet for $10 but lose your $10 bet on black so you break even. If
you hit the third column with a black number then you sweep as you
win $10 on the column and $10 on the side bet on black. If a red
number hits in the first or second column you get swept and lose
$15. If a black number hits in the first or second column you lose
your $5 column bet but you win your $10 bet on black so you make
$5. If the zero or double zero hit then you lose both bets.
The Red System really should be renamed the Black System because
you are actually rooting for black numbers to come up because that
is the way you make money.
The bottom line with this system in online roulette is that the
house still holds the 5.26% edge on a double zero wheel and half
that amount on a European wheel.
