Roulette Myths
When it comes to the game of roulette there are a lot of myths
and misconceptions. Let’s take a look at some of the most
common myths regarding roulette.
1. My number is due to come up - Just because a number has not
come up in a long time does not mean it is due. There is no “due
theory” in roulette as every number has an equal chance of
coming up on the next spin.
2. All roulette wheels are the same – While you might think
all roulette wheels are the same, they are not. There are two versions
of roulette wheels. The European wheel has 36 numbers and a single
zero while the American wheel has 36 numbers, a single zero and
a double zero. The house edge is greater if the house is using an
American wheel.
3. Systems can beat roulette – Every system ever devised
has been tried at roulette and they have all failed. Roulette is
a game of luck and in the long run a system is not going to beat
the house edge.
Roulette is a game where you can win money but only if you get
lucky. There is no skill involved. There are no magical systems
that will win you money and your lucky numbers are not due to come
up. Playing a European roulette wheel instead of an American roulette
wheel will increase your chances of winning but you still need to
have some luck and know when to quit when you are ahead to win at
roulette.
