European and American RouletteWhen you play roulette at an online casino you will see two basic versions, the European and the American. Most online casinos offer the American version but there are some that do have the European game. The two games are the same except for one difference. American roulette has the zero and the double zero on the wheel while European roulette just has the zero. There is no question that the version of roulette you want to play is the European version because the house edge is lower. If you are playing on an American wheel with the zero and the double zero the house edge is 5.26%. It drops almost in half on the European wheel to 2.7%. Whether you play online roulette on an American or a European wheel there isn’t that much of a difference since you are still looking to hit a winning streak and get hot. It might mean that you are playing a number at odds of 35-1 or it may mean you are playing a group of numbers. Bets that are popular in online roulette include the split bet, street bet, corner bet and line bets. You might not even choose to play the numbers when you are trying

red/black, high/low or odd/even. Or it might be that you play the
even money bet and a number bet at the same time. There is no real
