Covering the Table in Roulette
Have you ever played roulette and tried to cover the table? This
is a strategy where you are making multiple bets on every spin.
Let’s take a closer look at what this involves.
The first strategy when it comes to covering the table is to bet
35 of the 36 numbers. The only way you can lose is if the number
you didn’t choose comes up. You will win a lot of spins with
this strategy but when the number you didn’t choose comes
up or the wheel comes up zero or double zero you will lose 35 bets.
Another option for covering the table is to bet 17 different split
number bets. You will be covering two numbers on each of these 17
bets so there are only two numbers and the zeros that are losers.
If you make 17 split bets at $1 each then you win $18 and lose $17
on each spin for a profit of $1 if one of the 34 numbers comes up.
You can also make street bets where you bet on a group of three
numbers. Another choice is to bet on 1-18 and then also make a bet
on the third dozen. You would lose if the zero or numbers from 19-25
came up.
There is no way to overcome the house edge in the long run but
if you want to play for a longer period of time in roulette then
you may want to try out one of the different covering the table
strategies.
